Season One: Starfall

« Back to Mission Groups

The old Stargate era collapses. A new expedition begins. Atlantis becomes the center of a political storm that forces the birth of a new command.

When Atlantis returns to Earth and anchors in San Francisco Bay, the IOA moves quickly to seize control of the city. Their intervention fractures the existing leadership, triggers a tribunal, and sends shockwaves through Stargate Command. With Woolsey removed and Sheppard refusing to surrender Atlantis, the stability of the entire program begins to fall apart.

In the chaos, Colonel Brynn Hanley steps forward to rebuild what remains of the expedition. As the old guard rotates out and political pressure mounts, Hanley begins assembling a new leadership team. Officers, scientists, engineers, and specialists will form the foundation of the next Atlantis mission.

Across Earth and Atlantis, new personnel arrive and old structures fall away. The expedition is changing, the command is shifting, and the future of the Pegasus mission is being rewritten one decision at a time.

Starfall is the season of collapse, the fall of the old era and the forging of the new expedition that will carry Atlantis into its next chapter.

Old Guard is the opening mission of Starfall. The previous Atlantis administration has collapsed under IOA pressure, leaving the expedition unstable and directionless. Seth Cade arrives as the newly appointed expedition leader, but he is not stepping into a clean slate. Colonel Brynn Hanley has already begun reshaping the program from behind the scenes, pulling strings, securing key personnel, and positioning Cade to take command.

This mission establishes the transition between eras. Cade becomes the public face of the new expedition, while Hanley quietly ensures the foundation is strong enough to support what comes next.
